Fivecomm at Valencia 5G Day
Fivecomm was an active participant of the V5G Day, an international event celebrated on the 7th of June at the Palacio de Congresos of Valencia. There, the latest advances in 5G technology and its application to the industry were presented. One of the main protagonists was our first 5G social robot CASHU, equipped with different sensors and cameras that allow it to implement different real time functionalities, such as the mask detection using Artificial Intelligence algorithms, flexible autonomous driving, telepresence, and remote driving.
Additionally Fivecomm presented during the V5G Day event the following use cases:
- 5G Cobot for remote skin cancer detection
- 5G vehicle for remote critical infrastructure inspection
- 5G advanced robotics applications based on human gestures
V5G Day was open by the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, the dean of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, José E. Capilla and the director of iTEAM, Narcís Cardona, and brought together about 300 attendees both in person and online.
