Fivecomm is proud to contribute to the 5G-FACTORIES project, a strategic initiative that supports the digital transformation of the automotive sector. The project focuses on the deployment of private 5G networks within Renault Group’s production plants in Valladolid, Palencia, and Seville. The aim is to enable flexible, future-ready manufacturing processes for electric and connected vehicles, aligning with the evolving needs of the industry.
Objectives
Project for the deployment of private 5G networks to enable the digitalization of Renault’s production plants in Valladolid, Palencia, and Seville, addressing current and future use cases related to Electric and Connected Vehicles.
Our role
Fivecomm, as an expert in 5G technologies, will focus on analyzing the digitalization level of the automotive industry and will carry out an engineering study of the use cases and the required sensorization in Renault Group’s plants to meet digitalization needs.

The 5G-FACTORIES project is funded by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain and the European Union – NextGenerationEU program.
Fivecomm collaborates closely with its partner Tradia Telecom S.A. to drive this transformation forward.
