Smart Water Revolution

AIGUA5G is a pioneering effort designed to transform water management through the integration of cutting-edge 5G technology. As climate change and population growth put increasing pressure on water resources, innovative solutions are required to ensure efficiency, security, and sustainability in water networks. AIGUA5G leverages Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Edge Computing to enable real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and autonomous management of water infrastructure, optimizing resource allocation and operational efficiency.

By incorporating advanced 5G Standalone (SA) networks, AIGUA5G provides ultra-reliable, low-latency communication for an array of connected devices, including smart sensors, drones, and AI-powered analytics platforms. This approach enhances leak detection, water quality monitoring, and energy optimization, leading to improved sustainability and resilience. Moreover, the project fosters seamless integration of smart technology within existing water management frameworks, ensuring a more adaptive and intelligent approach to water conservation and distribution.

Through AIGUA5G, the industry is set to witness a paradigm shift, where digitalization and connectivity play a key role in preserving water, one of the planet’s most precious resources.

Objectives

AIGUA5G is committed to developing and validating cutting-edge 5G solutions to improve water management. The project’s main objectives include:
