5G Robots to optimize urban waste management and last mile package delivery
The Pinada Lab is the scenario to test the AUDERE system that aims to reduce the carbon footprint and noise pollution in cities.
The results of the project were showed in a demo at Pinada Lab where the most advanced robots connected to 5G carried out the tasks of urban waste recovery and last mile delivery. The main goal is to give a solution for the day-to-day of smart cities and transform cities into more sustainable environments.
One of the keys of the project is the integration of different technologies such as 5G, robotics, cloud computing and smart containers, which allows the system to work in real time in an efficient and automated way.
The project is funded by Agencia Valenciana de la Innovació (AVI).
