Over the past few months, the collaborative project between Fivecomm, A4Radar – Advanced Algorithms for Radar – and Fundación Valenciaport has achieved remarkable milestones in the development and validation of advanced radar-based solutions aimed at boosting safety and operational efficiency in smart ports.

Extensive field tests conducted at the Port of Valencia have showcased the robustness of the system under real-world challenges, including adverse weather conditions such as heavy rainfall and strong winds associated with DANA events. The radar technology has also demonstrated high reliability in complex scenarios such as nighttime docking operations and low-visibility environments, where traditional monitoring systems often fall short.
