About the project:
RADIANT is an HE funded project that is part of the first 6G-SANDBOX open call. In such project, Fivecomm will provide to the consortium members a set of 8 Release-16 5G BROAD devices, developed by the company, that will allow them to experiment on the four different infrastructures. Thanks to the RADIANT project, we are currently reducing the form factor of our devices and evolving the product, providing a unique solution for future BG5 and 6G projects to come
The project has set three main objectives: i) to provide 5G modems that fulfil the three profiles described in the open-call (small-size, medium size indoor and fixed outdoor); ii) to participate in their integration and validation; and iii) to provide support for field test measurements, maintenance, and potential upgrades.
We act as developers, integrators and participants of trials and pilots in the context of the 6G-SANDBOX. Our main role is to provide 5G Release-16 modems and validate them in the 5G networks available in real scenarios. The 5G modems provided by Fivecomm will significantly increase the quality of the 6GSANDBOX infrastructure. From the proposed extension, the project will also gain new functionalities that are coming with Release-16 chipsets.
